The creative aspect of reflecting the times that we are living in is important to me. So are aspects of the human condition connected and sometimes in conflict with nature. Both are represented through poetry and prose in this section of the website. Please feel free to comment on the different pieces in the blog where you will always find a reply.
Perspective is all. Experiences are individual, though often shared. Travel, the first-hand viewing new cultures, new places, new events builds character and offers a new appreciation in the individual over what it takes to live/thrive/survive in different parts of the world. This has been what I have found over my own years of travelling near and far. The travelogue section, which provides the 'mirror' of personal reflection, will be updated regularly as I embark upon more journeys throughout this year and beyond.
My name is Peter Antonio Rossi and I’m a traveller, writer, and educator originally from Glasgow in Scotland, but now living in a coastal Adriatic town called Vasto in Abruzzo, Italy.
I have lived and worked in nine different countries, including Botswana in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Malaysia in South-East Asia. Many life experiences gleaned in these richly diverse cultures have been reflected upon through literature, art, photography and travelogue. I have also published an e-book, ‘A Wandering Life’ that is currently available on Amazon.
Through this website, you will be able to share my journey. I hope you find it interesting. I will be updating the travel and literary aspects through blogs and topical stories that reflect the zeitgeist of our modern times.
